Entanglement: We are Energetically Connected
To make some sense of entanglement, the idea that our beings and experiences and the world itself are inseparable, let us consider a related quantum effect, that of non-locality, or action-at-a-distance. Research has shown that on the subatomic level at least, action at one place can influence action at another place without intermediaries and simultaneously.
Furthermore, particles can appear here, there and in different locations, but never in between. Pop! The particle is here, then pop, it is there!
We all have had the experience of popping in and out of time and events in our minds…we do it when we daydream, or our thoughts wander, or when one memory leads by free-association to another then another. Thought is incredibly mobile, and can transcend time and space with ease.
We dismiss these mental and emotional events as ‘not real’, figments of the mind. But what if they are real? What if your consciousness did actually pop in and out of your current reality, of other realities, of unmanifested probabilities?
What if your consciousness linked up with other consciousnesses, giving you access to others’ thoughts, feelings, memories and past experiences? What if we, all of us, formed part of a limitless universal pool of human experience, memory and information? This idea is not new. The ancient concept of the Akashic record has been around for thousands of years.
Entanglement is a mind-boggling concept because it has enormous implications for the way we see and intereact with the world. If we are indeed inseparable, and fundamentally entangled with the universe, then far out ideas like psychic phenomena, distance healing and an intelligent, self-aware universe are not only credible but true.
What else is in store for us?
