We Are Energy Beings
Scientifically and medically, we are living in exciting times…times of great change. One foot is still firmly planted in the old thinking of a mechanistic world view that can be described objectively and the body as little more than molecules and chemicals, while with the other foot, we are cautiously treading the waters of an entirely different understanding of the world.
While our senses tell us that only matter is real, the new science reveals that our universe and everything in it…molecules, atoms, sound, light, thought and we ourselves….are made of energy.
In the most literal way, we are beings of energy – beings of light – made of the same energy that makes up grass and dogs, and the stars and galaxies across our universe. All of the ‘stuff’ of the universe is energy, and the movement of this energy is the basis of all lifeYour body, and every organ and cell that make up your body emit energy, each with its specific, identifiable vibration. Together, these emissions create an aura of energy around you: your energy field, which is as unique as your fingerprint. Every organ and cell also emits its own unique energy field.
Together, these energy fields and the pathways along which your energy flows can be called your ‘energy body’. This is not the body of bone, blood and cells, but rather, the body of vibrating electromagnetic light energy emitted by those physical parts, and that flows in, through and around the physical body.
The energy body cannot be seen by standard medical equipment, but the energy it emits has been picked up by sensitive devices by scientists interested in studying such things. One surprise from the Reseachers at the HeartMath Institute is that the heart radiates more and stronger energy frequencies than any other part of the body, even the brain.
Some clairvoyants can see an aura, which according to ancient Vedic philosophy, is made up of 5 layers or sheaths, each with its own purpose and expression. This aura is said to be up to 1 metre thick, even more in very spiritually developed individuals.
New technology has been developed to capture an image of the aura, as you can see in these photographs. Thanks to other sensitive technology and experimentation, we now know that our energy field radiates even further, and interact with energy fields of people and living things that may be far away from us, even on the other side of the planet.
